MISSIONS TRIP TO ENSENADA MEXICO
The PHMI Missions trip th Ensenada Mexico has bee canceled.

MISSIONS TRIP TO US CENTER FOR WORLD MISSIONS
The PHMI Directors, Kelvin and Cheryl Verrett, took a Missions Ministry trip to the US Center for World Missions on September 20, 2008. This trip was for educational purposes to find out more about the importance of and how African Americans can get more involved in Foreign Missions Ministry. Their findings will be provided at a later date.

MISSIONS IN THE FIELD
Antelope Valley Christian Center helped to sponsor Mr. Ben Jones (a Campus Missionary with Nation Campus Ministries) for a Foreign Missions Ministry trip to Israel. Ben has since taken that trip and sent us a note and photos letting us know that the trip was a success and a blessing.

ANGEL FOOD MINISTRY
Antelope Valley Christian Center has completed its second month of partnership with Angel Food Ministries, and we are pleased to report that this time there were 44 families who participated with 106 orders being placed. The families came from Tehachapi, Palmdale, Lancaster, Littlerock, and Rosamond, CA. September groceries were picked up on Sep 27th, with each family spending about 5 minutes to pick up all of their purchased foods. Thank you to the many volunteers who help to make the Angel Food Ministry at AVCC such a success!
